Dianne Francesca Conklin, a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, cousin, aunt, and friend, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday July 9,2024, in Palm Bay, FL. She was 69. The daughter of the late Howard Hoehmann and Barbara Ann Partridge Hoehmann, she was born on November 29, 1954 in Nyack, NY.
“Dinny” as she was lovingly known, was a graduate of Clarkstown North High School. She went on to marry her loving husband William H. Conklin on August 11,1973. Later in her fulfilling life, the name “Nana” was adopted by her adoring grandchildren. Dianne was most passionate about her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, playing games like Yahtzee, Poker, and BINGO, and enjoying quick-witted jokes with her husband Billy. Family and friends will forever recall her love for yellow tea roses and Disney. Her courageous spirit will continue to ignite through her loved ones and will be passed down for generations to come.
Dianne’s memory will be cherished by her eternal husband, William H. Conklin; her children, Samantha Gelman and her husband Randall Gelman, Lillian Rose and her husband David Rose, Eve Gable and her husband Michael Gable Jr., William Conklin Jr., Kathleen Heins and her husband Frederick Heins, Michael Conklin, and Theresa Conklin; her grandchildren, Zachary, Anastacia, Shane, Scott, Christopher, David, Jonathan, Cassandra, Kimberly, Alexander, Jaquelynn, Michael III, Gabriella, Izabella, Nicole, Frederick Jr., Mikaylla, Analise, Kaylanna, and Tristen; her great-grandchildren, Scott Jr., Logan, Elijah, Roman, and Tabitha; her siblings Barbara Curti, Mary Hoehmann, Howard Hoehmann and his wife Josie Hoehmann, Joseph Hoehmann and his wife Kelly Hoehmann, John Hoehmann and his wife Julie Hoehmann, George Hoehmann and his wife Kathy Hoehmann, David Hoehmann and his wife Patricia Hoehmann, Faith Hauss and her husband Michael Hauss; and her godson Scott Curti and his wife Kimberly Curti. Dianne is further survived by many nieces, and nephews and is predeceased by her parents, Howard and Barbara Ann Hoehmann, and her daughter Dianna Jewel Conklin.
Visitation will be held on Sunday July 14, 2024 from 2-6pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush, NY 12566. Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday July 15, 2024 at 11:30am at St. Anthony Parish, 36 West Nyack Road, Nanuet, NY 10954. Burial will follow in St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc.
