Jeffrey Pedersen, resident of Pine Bush, New York, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 7th, 2024 while at home. He was 61 years old. The son of George “Benny” and Rosalie (Maiorino) Pedersen, Jeffrey was born on December 18, 1962 in Brooklyn, N.Y. Jeff was a loving father and devoted husband. He was a skilled craftsman and shop steward of the Carpenters Local Union 279 Hudson Valley, from which he recently retired. Always the life of the party, Jeff’s magnetic and charming demeanor made him a most welcoming and gracious host. With varied interests and passions, Jeff was a fisherman, a hunter, a biker, and a guitar player throughout the years. He had a humble appreciation and connection to nature, finding joy in nurturing his land and the animals that visited him there in his later years.

He is survived by his loving wife Lisa Pedersen of Pine Bush, daughter Nicole (Mark) Lenkiewicz of Washington, D.C., son Erik Jeffrey Pedersen of Syracuse, sister Karen Mavica of Pine Bush, niece Jennifer (Jahmel) Rivera, and great-nephews, Noah Ben and Leo Moon, cousins, and friends-turned-family, near and far.

Jeff is predeceased by his parents and his twin sister Susan (Pedersen) Matson of Monroe, N.Y. Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday October 19, 2024 from 1-4pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush NY 12566. Memorial talk will being at 3:30pm.
