Dave and I worked many years together at the PO and he made that time so much better. That dry sense of humor cracked me up. We played softball, not terribly well, but that didn’t matter. Concerts at The Chance where we may have had a beer or two. He would always call when my son got engaged and then married and when I retired. A truly caring friend to me and my family. He will be missed but live in on in our memories. Heartfelt condolences to Sue and the family.

Working at the post office was never easy, but Dave always had a smile on his face and kindness for his co-workers. He was so proud of his sons and when he spoke about them, you could feel the love. Dave was a good, kind man and will be missed by those who knew him.

Dave and Sue are Charter Members of the Danny's Golf league. They hit golf balls off Sam's Point to seal their nuptuals. Jessie grew up around golf. I have years of fond memories competing with them both. Play on Dave, play on.

I worked with Dave at the Post Office in Middletown. When I couldn't get up my driveway in the winter because of the snow, Dave would pick me up at the top of my driveway on Walker Valley Road to I could get to the Post Office.

Sending my condolences to Dave’s family and friends. I worked with Dave at the Middletown Post Office. He was a kind, funny man but what I remember most about him was the love he had for his family. He loved sharing stories about his wife and children and what their current events were. He will truly be missed.

Oh, Suzanne, oh dear, I am so sorry to read of David’s passing. I know nothing about it, but I sincerely hope that you know you are being carried in the hearts of those loved you both, and grieve with you. David was a cousin of mine and I was very close to his Mother when she moved to Saratoga, NY. I kept up with her three children through her. So, this is a shock to me and I am so sorry to hear of his passing.
With sympathy and condolences,
Priscilla Dean
