Brion David Moniz, 63, of Pine Bush NY passed away unexpectedly on January 19th 2025. He was born in New Bedford MA on May 28, 1961 to JoAnne Fourier and the late Herman Moniz.
Brion was a commercial fisherman for much of his younger life in New Bedford MA. He always loved being out on the ocean. After his retirement from Tilcon he was "Poppy's Daycare" for his grandchildren, Michaela, Blake, Claire, Leila, Charles, and Mary who he loved and adored.
Survivors include his wife Mariann, daughters, Megan (Andrew), Amanda (Charles) and Jessica (Michael), grandchildren Michaela, Blake, Claire, Leila, Charles and Mary; as well as his sisters Diane and Cheryl and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Brion's ashes will be laid to rest at a private service in Fairhaven, MA. Arrangements entrusted to the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc.
