GREGORY JAMES GLUSZAK PINE BUSH, NY Gregory James Gluszak, 23 years old died from Adult Respiratory Distress Syndrome of unknown origin. IN ONLY 23 YEARS... Son; Brother; Grandson; Nephew; Cousin; Altar Server at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church; Religious Education volunteer at The Church of the Infant Saviour; Musician; Artist; Composer; Photographer; “Crappie Fisherman”; Daycare Teacher; Blood Donor; Competitive Skier; World Traveler; Outdoors man; Grizzly Bear Opponent; Scholar; Scientist; Youngest member of NASA Specialist Center for Outreach, Research, and Training for the “Origins of Life” Team at SUNY Albany and Rensellear Polytech; PHD Candidate in Extraterrestrial Geochemistry; Paid Thinker who thought neither inside the box nor outside the box but in the Corrugations; Counselor to many, BEST FRIEND TO ALL!! Gregory James Gluszak Born May 26, 1982 life time resident of Walker Valley, son of James and Patricia Gluszak, Younger brother of Mark Gluszak, Grandson of Joan and George Gluszak and Mary and James Monahan, Nephew of James and Barbara Monahan, Diane Encinas, Cecilia and Michael Berenberg, Antoinette and Steve Reed, Peggy Gluszak, Matthew and Melissa Gluszak; cousin of Matthew, Andrew, and Kerri Monahan, Katie and Stephen Berenberg , Thomas, Jeanette and Lucas Encinas and Isabella Gluszak. Best friend of Pine Bush High School class of 2000, SUNY Albany Class of 2004 and Stonybrook University Class of 2010. We are grateful for the memories shared by the many friends whom we have encountered in his last few days... In their own words “ GREG CARED, GREG RULES!! Visitation will be held from 1-5 and 7-9 on Tuesday January 17, 2006 at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home, 1525 Burlingham Road Pine Bush, NY. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday January 18, 2006 at 10:00am at The Church of the Infant Saviour, with Father Kevin Gallagher, and Deacon Raymond Hodges officiating. Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh NY. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made to the: Religious Education Center, Building Fund of the Church of the Infant Saviour, 22 Holland Ave Pine Bush NY 12566.
