Margaret A. Hackett, a homemaker and longtime resident of the area passed away on Sunday February 7, 2010 at ORMC Horton Campus. She was 79. The daughter of the late Leander Crawford Gillespie and Julia Neusaenger Gillespie, she was born on September 15, 1930 in Middletown, NY. Survivors include her beloved sister, Lois Grossi and her husband Joseph of Pine Bush, brother, Don Gillespie of Middletown, aunt, Mary Neusaenger of Pine Bush, nieces, Judy Yannantuono Parsells and her husband Jeff of Pine Bush and Valerie Woods of Fountain Florida, nephews Joseph Grossi and his wife Kira of Montgomery, Quentin Gillespie and his wife Missy of Middletown, and Kevin Gillespie also of Middletown, great nephews, Bryan Yannantuono and John Parsells, and great niece, Crystal Parsells all of Pine Bush. Margaret was predeceased by her husband John T. Hackett and her brother Charles Gillespie. Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 9, 2010 from 6-8pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush. Funeral service will take place at 7:30pm at the Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Hewitt officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Margaret’s name to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements entrusted to the William M.
