Royce William Johnson August 30, 1945-May 30, 2012 La Habra Heights, CA Formerly of Bloomingburg, NY Royce W. Johnson of La Habra Heights, CA and formerly of Bloomingburg, NY passed away unexpectedly Wednesday May 30, 2012 at the VA Hospital in CA. He was 66. Royce was retired from the Orange County California Dept. of Parks. The son of the late Robert W. Johnson and Jessie Mae Elliott Johnson, he was born on August 30, 1945 in Middletown NY. A Veteran of the Vietnam War, Royce served his country in the U.S. Navy, and moved to CA shortly after his tour of duty was done. Survivors include his wife of over 40 yrs. Carolyn Crum Johnson of La Habra Heights, Ca, a daughter Christina Johnson and her fiancé Mark Liebert of La Habra Heights, CA, a son Kevin Johnson and his companion Kelly Hall of Huntington Beach, CA. His grandchildren: Royce, Trent, JD, Katin, Hope and a grandson on the way. Two brothers: David A. Johnson and his wife Joanne of Bloomingburg, NY and Timothy G. Johnson of Watertown, NY; and his sister-in-law Donna Siemann and her husband Jack of Downey, CA and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Royce was predeceased by his brother Robert M. Johnson in February 2012, an infant sister and his sister-in-law Cassie Johnson. Funeral services were provided by Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, CA.
