Helen E. Barton Helen E. Barton, a homemaker and lifetime area resident, died Thursday, July 6, 2006 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh. She was 92. The daughter of Chauncey Decker and Ida Mae Decker, she was born January 2, 1914 in Pine Bush. She was a former member of the Pine Bush United Methodist Church. She was the widow of Edward R. Barton. Survivors include her beloved daughter, Audrey A. Sevits of Walden; loving grandsons, Richard of Texas and Jason of California; one niece; and one nephew. She was predeceased by a brother, Alton Decker. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by the William M. Gagan Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Bush.
