Joseph J. Kania Bullville, NY Joseph J. Kania, a retired Electrician and lifelong resident of the area passed away on Tuesday May 5, 2009 at his home. He was 68. The son of the late John Kania and Victoria Kobalacz Kania, he was born on December 11, 1940 in Bullville, NY. Joe was a lifetime member of the Bullville Fire Department. Survivors include his beloved wife Virginia at home, his loving daughter Valerie Green and her companion John Miller of Port Jervis, NY, loving grandchildren, Jonathan Green, Layla and Clarice Miller also of Port Jervis, NY, Olivia, Danica, and Logan Kania of Wallkill, NY loving brothers Martin and his wife Doris of Middletown, NY, Stanley and his wife Jean of Bullville, NY, Frank of Bloomingburg, NY and Anthony and his wife Ann of Bayshore, NY , loving sisters, Rose Rider and her husband Rupert of Pittsburgh, PA and Helen Dennison and her husband DJ of Bullville. Joe is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends and is predeceased by his son Jeffery J. Kania and his brother Julius Kania. There will be no visitation.
