Captain Victor J. Langschultz Middletown, NY Captain Victor J. Langschultz a Captain for the River Rose Tours and Cruises and 25 year resident of the area, passed away at his home on Sunday December 14, 2008. He was 67. The son of the late Edward Langschultz and Gertrude Bernhardt, he was born on June 23, 1941 in Hackensack, NJ. Victor was a Captain for the US Coast Guard, and served his country as a Marine. He was a Diving Instructor for the US Navy SEALS, a Police Officer for the State of NJ, and also worked for the Sheriffs Dept in NJ, Volunteer Firefighter for the Town of Shawangunk and Bloomingburg Fire Dept, SCUBA Diving Instructor for the Wyckoff, NJ Fire Dept, he also worked for Young’s Service Station in Pine Bush, worked in Pius 12 with the youth and enjoyed recreation with them. Victor also worked for Tri Star Bus Co. in Bloomingburg. Survivors include his loving wife Rosalie at home, his loving children, Denise Stephens of Kissimmee, FL, Gina Lankford of Binghamton NY, Michael Monteforte of Goshen, Amanda Stark of Woodridge, NY, Jessica Langschultz of Newburgh, Terri Robinson of Tallahassee FL, Victor Williams of PA, and Suzanne Wilz of PA. Victor is also survived by many grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Cremation will be held Cedar Hill Crematory and at the convenience of the family.
