Judy Lorber (Carmella Teresa Pisano) passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness at home on March 4, 2009. She was 82. The daughter of the late Giovanni John Pisano and Carmela DeFino, she was born on September 5, 1926 in Clifton, NJ. Survivors include her daughters Barbara Curasi of Newburgh, Rochelle Lorber of Long Island, son Arthur Lorber of Pine Bush, grandchildren, David Eskowitz, Steven S. Krinsky, Daniel A. Lorber, Melvin Lorber, Ricky Curasi and Melody Curasi, brothers Joseph, Dominick and John Pisano, sisters Constance Jannotti, Sophie Masker, Helen Dixon, Genevieve Landry and Penny Shesa. Judy was predeceased by her husband Melvin, her brothers Anthony, Phil and Fred Pisano, sisters Marie Turner and Angelina Palmer. Visitation will be held on Sunday March 8, 2009 from 2-6pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd, Pine Bush, NY A Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday March 9, 2009 at 10:00am at the Church of the Infant Saviour, Rte 302 Pine Bush, NY.
