Michael A. Lupo Otisville, NY Michael A. Lupo, a retired Rural Postal Carrier for the Otisville Post Office for 20 years, and longtime resident of the area, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, at his home on Saturday April 24, 2010. He was 62. The son of Vincent Lupo and Rose Porco Lupo, Michael was born on July 31, 1947 in the Bronx. Michael served his country during Vietnam from 1967-1969 in the US Army and the Army Reserve; he was a coach for the Otisville Little League, and the Otisville Basket Ball Organization. Michael was given the Honor on July 31, 2009 of having that day be known as “Michael A. Lupo Day” in Otisville, NY. He was an avid Yankees Baseball fan, and Celtic Basketball fan. In addition to his beloved parents, Vincent and Rose, Michael is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Nancy, at home, his loving sons; Michael V. Lupo of Deltona, FL and Scott M. Lupo and his wife Vanessa of Pine Bush, his 2 loving sisters; Roseann O’Connor and her husband Edward of Long Island, and Donna Chiusano and her husband Carmine “Chip” of Otisville. Michael is further survived by his brother Vincent Lupo of Long Island, and many nieces and nephews. Michael was a true family man. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday April 29, 2010 at 11:00am at Holy Name Catholic Church in Otisville, NY.
