Americo Malatesta
Americo Malatesta of Smallwood, N.Y., a 16-year resident of the area, died June 2, 2005 at Catskill Regional Hospital, Harris, N.Y. He was 85.
The son of Louis and Emma Malatesta, he was born on November 13, 1919 in New York City. He was a retired Marble Terrazzo Setter.
Survivors include his wife, Carmelita Lupi Malatesta, at home, and his two stepsons, Silvio Ottolia and Maureice Ottolia.
Visitation will be on Sunday, June 5, 2005 from 2 to 4 PM at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home, 1525 Burlingham Rd., Pine Bush, N.Y.
Funeral service will be on Sunday, June 5, 2005 at 4 PM at the funeral home. Father William Damroth will officiate.
Cremation will be at Cedar Hill Crematory in Newburgh.
