Antonio Martucci Wallkill, NY Antonio Martucci, a longtime resident of the area, entered into rest on Monday, April 14, 2008 at Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis, NY. He was 88. The son of the late Pietro Martucci and Giacomina Lia, he was born February 4, 1920 in Italy. He was further predeceased by his wife, Mary Martucci, son, Antonio P. Martucci and Antonio's wife, Fredrica. Mr. Martucci was a retired foreman for the Ulster County D.P.W. He was a member of the Vera effigie di, Maria SS Addolorata, venerata nel Santuario, della Madonna dei Sette Dobri in Pignato Interamna (Fr.), 49th Ave. Vernon Blvd., Long Island City, Sottogli Auspicidi, St. Mary's Church, the American Legion, Wallkill Fire Dept. and Wallkill Rod & Gun Club. Survivors include his beloved sons, John Martucci and his wife, Michelle of Glen Spey, and Pasquale Martucci of Pine Bush; his beloved grandchildren: John's children - Peter Martucci, Celeste Goodell and her husband, Ray, Antonio Martucci and Lia Martucci; his late son, Antonio P. Martucci's children - Jaclyn Martucci and Christine Martucci; beloved sister, Antoinette Evangelista of Bellrose, Queens; beloved great-grandchildren: Jacinda and Devin Martucci and Alixandra and John Goodell; beloved nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home, Inc., 1525 Burlingham Rd., Pine Bush, NY. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 18, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Father Kevin Gallagher officiating.
