Kenneth R. Mattern Sr.
Middletown, NY
Kenneth R. Mattern Sr. of Middletown NY was welcomed into the
presence of his Lord and Savior on Monday July 2, 2012 at ORMC in
Middletown. He was 59. He was born of the late Otto Mattern
and Catherine Kescitek on March 13, 1953 in Dumont, NJ.
Survivors include his loving wife, Donna M. Mattern; his step
father Gene Plump of NJ; sons, Kenneth Jr., Shawn, Matthew, David,
Christopher, and 5 grandchildren. Ken was a loving husband,
father, grandfather, and a kind and caring friend to all. His
biggest joy in life was being surrounded by loved ones and using
his gift of music to bring glory to the Lord. There was
nothing Ken would not do for his friends and family. His life was a
gift to many. Visitation will be held on Friday July 6, 2012 from
5-9pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd.
Pine Bush, NY. Additional visitation will be held on Saturday July
7 from 11am-12:30pm with a memorial service immediately following
officiated by Pastor Stephen Offringa. Interment will take place in
New Prospect Cemetery, Pine Bush. Arrangements entrusted to the
