Melani, Lena
Lena Melani, a retired dressmaker and 6-year resident of the area, died June 30, 2005 at Montgomery Nursing Home. She was 96.
The daughter of Egisto Melani and Angela Manteo Melani, she was born November 30, 1908 in New York City.
She is survived by a great-niece, Gail Battista; great-nephews, Robert Battista and Philip Battista; niece, Joyce Battista; great-great-nieces, Gabrielle, Paige and Natalie and Gina; and great-great-nephew, Philip Jr.
There will be no visitation.
Cremation will be private and at the convenience of the family.
