Ashley A. Meredith
Pine Bush, NY
Ashley A. Meredith, a 37 year resident of the area, and a
retired Line Installer for Verizon, passed away on Sunday December
19, 2010 at ORMC Horton Campus. He was 71. The son of
the late Ashley V. Meredith and Virginia Guarino Meredith, he was
born on February 28, 1939 in Nyack, NY. Ashley served his
country from 1956-1960 in the US Air Force. Survivors include
his wife of 51 years, Mary at home, children, Ashley A. Meredith
Jr., John Meredith, and Douglas Meredith and his wife Nicole,
9 grandchildren, Marie, Jessica, John, Sarah, Daniel, Haley, Megan,
Allison and Audrey, his brother, Ross Meredith and his wife
Dorothy, 2 nephews, Christopher and his wife Laura, and Nicholas
and his wife Perri, and several cousins. Ashley was
predeceased by his brother in law, John Fitzgerald. The family
would like to give a special thanks to the staff at the Tucker
Center for the wonderful care they provided. Visitation will
take place on Wednesday December 22, 2010 from 4-7pm at the William
M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham RD, Pine Bush.
Services will be held at 6:30pm during the visitation with Fr.
Patrick McGuigan O.Carm officiating. Cremation will be in
Cedar Hill Cemetery in Newburgh, NY. Arrangements entrusted
