Norman Miller Pine Bush, NY Norman Miller, a lifetime resident of the area passed away on Friday, September 3, 2010 at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. He was 82. The son of the late Gerald M. Miller and Catherine Cook Miller, Norman was born on July 9, 1928 in Queens, NY. Mr. Miller was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator for the Local 825 in New Jersey. He was also an active member of the Bullville United Methodist Church. Survivors include his children Nancy Sohni of Pine Bush, Gerald Miller and his wife Ruth of Pine Bush, Patricia Mance and her husband David of Ballston Spa, Norman Miller Jr. and his wife Linda of Augusta, ME, and Charles Miller and his wife Kathryn of Pine Bush, one sister, Audrey Buettner of Seaford, NY. Norman is further survived by his 17 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, as well as his dog, Buddy. Norman was predeceased by his beloved wife Kathryn Schoonmaker Miller in December of 1999, his son Richard G. Miller, and his siblings, Geraldine Hurley, Richard Miller and Theodore Miller. Memorial visitation will be held on Friday September 10, 2010 from 7-9pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Road, Pine Bush, NY. A memorial service will be held on Saturday September 11, 2010 at 11:00am at the funeral home, with Pastor Tim Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in New Prospect Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Norman's name may be made to the Bullville United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 211, Bullville, NY 10915. Arrangements entrusted to the William M.
