Moriano, a lifelong resident of the area, died Thursday, August 16, 2007 at home in Pine Bush, N.Y. He was 79. The son of Peter Moriano and Antonetta Fiscorelli Moriano, he was born June 22, 1928 in Pine Bush, N.Y. Arthur is the owner and operator of Valley Supreme Plaza in Pine Bush, N.Y., and a retired owner of Valley Supreme Supermarket. He was a member of the Church of the Infant Saviour in Pine Bush. Survivors include his beloved wife, Patricia Moriano, at home; loving daughter, Lynn Katelas and her husband, Michael of Pine Bush; loving granddaughter, Kristena Katelas of Pine Bush; loving grandson, John Katelas of Pennsylvania; loving nephew, Anthony Moriano and his wife, Francesca of Pine Bush; two loving grandnieces, Danielle Moriano of Pine Bush and Nicole Moriano of Florida. He was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Antonetta Moriano; his brother, Anthony Moriano, and his sister, Filomena Moriano. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 19, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home, 1525 Burlingham Rd., Pine Bush, N.Y. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 20, at 10 a.m. at Church of the Infant Saviour, Route 302, Pine Bush, N.Y., with Father Kevin Gallagher officiating. Burial will be in the family plot at New Prospect Cemetery in Pine Bush.
