Saverio Napolitano Sal Pine Bush, NY Saverio Napolitano, 95 was born on July 13, 1914, and longtime resident of the area passed away on Tuesday April 6, 2010 at ORMC Horton Campus. The son of the late Victor Napolitano and Loretta Putea Napolitano, he was in Brooklyn, NY. Sal served his county in the Army from 1935-1938, and then re enlisted in the Navy from 1942-1945. In the Navy he achieved rank of Aviation Ordanance Man B, First Class. Sal was a self employed Carpenter and a member of the Pine Bush VFW Post 5492, The American Legion G. Paul Bettinger Post #1308, Pine Bush, The Pine Bush Volunteer Fire Dept. and The Church of the Infant Saviour, and also received his High School Diploma at the age of 89. Sal is the beloved husband of 63 years to Margaret Riccardi Napolitano who survives him at home. He is further survived by his daughter, Sally Lorenz of Orlando, Florida, his son, Michael Napolitano and his wife Susan of Surprise, NY, his only granddaughter, Nikki Napolitano of Middletown, NY, his brother Samuel Napolitano of Pine Bush, NY, and many nieces and nephews. His family is very proud of his accomplishments. He is predeceased by 3 sisters, and 5 brothers. Visitation will be held on Friday April 9, 2010 from 4-7pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham RD, Pine Bush. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday April 10, 2010 at 10:00am at the Church of the Infant Saviour, with Fr. Kevin Gallagher officiating. Burial will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Middletown with Full Military Honors. Arrangements entrusted to the William M.
