Margaret J. Napolitano, Marge to those who knew her well, passed
away at her daughters home in Orlando, Florida on Wednesday
December 3, 2014. She was 90. The daughter of the late Angelo
Riccardi and Filomena Vena Riccardi, she was born on September 28,
1924 in Harrisburg, PA. Marge was very active in her life and held
several jobs throughout the years. She was a seamstress, a bus
driver and at the age of 50, she earned her Nursing Degree and
worked at the Middletown Psych Center for 20 years. During
Election time, Marge worked for the Town of Crawford Board of
Elections and was very active within the community. Marge was a
founding member of the Pine Bush Ambulance Corp. , a First Aid
Teacher, Member of the Pine Bush Fire Dept Ladies Aux., American
Legion Aux, VFW Aux, Walker Valley Catholic Society, PEF Union. A
Lecture and Lay Minister with the Church of the Infant Saviour and
Our Lady of the Valley and she also read every Sunday at
Mass. Survivors include her daughter, Sally Lorenz of Orlando
Florida, son; Michael Napolitano and his wife Susan of Surprise, NY
Granddaughter; Nikki Napolitano of Pine Bush, sister; Anna
Napolitano and Natalie Saft. Marge is also survived by many nieces
and nephews and is predeceased by her husband, Saverio Napolitano,
brothers; Gabriel, Victor, Albert, Paul, August, sisters; Sophie
and Angelina. Visitation will be held on Sunday December 7, 2014
from 2-5pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525
Burlingham Rd Pine Bush, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be
offered on Monday December 8, 2014 at 10am at the Church of the
Infant Saviour. Burial will take place in St. Joseph's
Cemetery in Middletown NY. Arrangements entrusted to the William M.
Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush, NY.
