Leroy B. Palmer, a lifetime resident of the area and a retired
butcher passed away on Saturday October 18, 2014 at Orange Regional
Medical Center. He was 71. The son of the late Victor B.
Palmer and Catherine Kimbark Palmer, he was born on March 30, 1943
in Newburgh, NY. A Veteran, Leroy served his county from
1960-1963 as a U.S Marine. Survivors include his wife
of 47 years, Ann Palmer at home, his children; Leroy J. Palmer of
Pine Bush, Rosemarie Wilkins of Pine Bush, Mark Palmer of Pine
Bush, Aaron S. Palmer and his his wife Courtney of AZ, sister;
Catherine Penny of Walden, and 7 grandchildren. Visitation will be
held on Wednesday October 22, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the
William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush, NY
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday October 23, 2014 at 10am at
the Church of the Infant Saviour 22 Holland Ave Pine Bush, NY.
Burial will take place in the Orange County Veterans Cemetery with
Full Military Honors. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to
