John J. Crowe Middletown, NY John J. Crowe, a self employed truck driver for over 30 years, and lifelong resident of the area, passed away on Friday December 17, 2010 at ORMC Horton Campus. He was 62. The son of the late Michael Crowe Sr, and Eva O'Connell Crowe, he was born on November 20, 1948 in Middletown, NY. John served his country in the US Army during Vietnam. Survivors include his longtime companion Sandra Simpson of Middletown, his daughter, Laura Crowe of Kingston, his brothers, Michael Crowe Jr. and wife Patricia of Middletown, Andrew Crowe Sr, and his wife Linda of Pine Bush, Thomas Crowe Sr and his wife Lori of Pine Bush, and Joseph Crowe Sr. of Middletown, his sisters, Jane Rembisz and husband Emil of Fair Oaks, and Betty Monell and her husband Ben of Woodbourne. John is further survived by his step daughter Tammy Blair of Middletown, 4 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and is predeceased by his step daughter Debby Simpson. Visitation will be held on Monday December 20, 2010 from 5-8pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham RD Pine Bush NY. A funeral mass will take place on Tuesday December 21, 2010 at 10:00am at the Church of the Infant Saviour with Fr. Kevin Gallagher officiating. Burial will be in the Orange County Veterans Cemetery in Goshen, NY. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society, 419E. Main Street Suite 307B, Middletown NY 10940.
