Middletown, NY
Hanni Petersen, a farmer/homemaker and longtime resident of the
area passed away at her home on Sunday November 25, 2012. She
was 73. The daughter of the late Erich Hohls and Elfrieda
Timm Hohls she was born on August 16, 1939 in Germany. Survivors
include her 3 children; Scott and his wife Margaret of Goshen,
Jeffrey and his wife Bernadette of Middletown, and Holly Petersen
of Pittsburgh, PA, grandchildren; Emily, Erin and Michael,
brothers; Erich and Gerhard Hohls of Germany, brothers in law; John
Petersen and his wife Mary of Middletown and Robert Petersen of
California. Hanni is predeceased by her husband, Edward M.
Petersen. Visitation will be held on Wednesday November 28, 2012
from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525
Burlingham Rd Pine Bush NY. Funeral services will be conducted at
8:30pm at the funeral home with Pastor Robert B. Hewitt
officiating. Creamtion will take place at Cedar Hill
Crematory. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the
Bullville United Methodist Church PO Box 211. Bullville,
NY 10915. Arrangements entrusted to the William M. Gagan Funeral
