Obituary of Glenn S. Petrosky

Glenn S. Petrosky Pine Bush, New York Glenn S. Petrosky, a Fiscal Coordinator for the Orange County Parks Dept. in Montgomery ,and a life long resident of the area, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on December 7, 2007 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence Center in Newburgh. He was 60. The son of the late Stephen L. Petrosky and Shirley E. Conklin Petrosky he was born on June 26, 1947 in Tuxedo, NY. Glenn was an avid golfer in many leagues including the Stony Ford and Hickory Hill leagues and an avid Ballroom dancer, winning many contests. He was also inducted into the Rockland County Softball Hall of Fame for pitching numerous no-hitters. A family statement reads” Glenn was a loving husband, father, and friend who adored his grandchildren as they always brought a smile to his face and brightened up his world.” Survivors include his loving wife Colleen, at home, 2 loving daughters: Tracey Petrosky of CT, and Valerie Lynn Grippo and her husband John of Washingtonville. 2 loving step sons: John Evans Donnery and his wife Andrea Nicole of New Windsor, and Peter Hugh Donnery also of New Windsor. 3 loving grandchildren: Emily, Marissa Nicole, and Benjamin John Grippo. 2 loving sisters: Shelia Marie Greglow of Ohio, and Cheryl Ann Worley and her husband Jim of Long Island. He is further survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A Memorial Visitation will be on Friday December 14, 2007 from 2-5pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home, 1525 Burlingham Road, Pine Bush, NY. A Memorial service will begin at 5:00pm at the Funeral Home following the visitation. Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory. Memorial contributions can be made in Glenn’s name to: Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh NY 12550. Arrangements were made by the William M.
