Herald E. Pierpoint, a retired Truck Driver for Green Acres and a longtime resident of the area, passed away on Monday April 12, 2010 at Castle Point VA Hospital. He was 92. The son of the late George Pierpoint and Louise Fisher Pierpoint, he was born on October 24, 1917 in Lincolndale, NY. Herald served his country in the US Army during WWII. Survivors include his wife Josephine at home, his 2 sons, Melvin Pierpoint and his wife Carol of Bullville and Herald Pierpoint Jr. and his wife Barbara of the Hamlet of Wallkill. He is also survived by his 4 grandchildren, Lewis, Joseph, Craig and Sarah, a further survived by 3 great grandchildren, Lewis Jr., Alexandra, and Beckie. Herald is survived by his sister Helen Johnson and is predeceased by his brother, George Pierpoint. Graveside services will be held on Saturday April 17, 2010 at 11:00am at the Circleville Cemetery with Pastor Ski officiating. Arrangements entrusted to the William M.
