Alice Pizappi a Teacher's Aide for Pine Bush Elementary and
longtime resident of the area passed away on Wednesday October 12,
2011 at Achieve Nursing Facility in Liberty. She was
56. The daughter of Irene Bargiel and the late Eugene
Bargiel, she was born on September 18, 1955 in Passaic, NJ.
Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer Pizappi of Florida,
brothers; Stephen Bargiel, Ronald Bargiel, and John Bargiel all of
NJ, sister; Jean Maxey of England, and several nieces and
nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday October 16, 2011
from 2-4pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home 1525 Burlingham
Road, Pine Bush. Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:30
pm with Fr. Kevin Gallagher officiating. Cremation will take
place at Cedar Hill Crematory. Arrangements entrusted to the
