Alice I. Pohlman, a home maker and 35 year resident of the area, passed away on Sunday May 30, 2010 at Elant at Goshen. She was 87. Alice was born on September 6, 1922 in NYC. She was a member of the Church of the Infant Saviour in Pine Bush. Survivors include her husband Paul at home, her son Paul E. Pohlman II and his wife Lorraine of West Lake Village, CA, her daughters, Jean Bailey and partner Ken Pointek of Swanton, MD, and Irene Jurgens and husband Donald of Lindenhurst, NY, 7 grandchildren, Craig, Brian, Danny, Gregory, Diane, Chrissie and Alison, 6 great grandchildren, David, Patrick, Madeline, Alexis, Mykala, and Jacob, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 2, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham RD Pine Bush, NY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday June 3, 2010 at 10:00 am at the Church of the Infant Saviour with Fr. Kevin Gallagher officiating. Burial will take place in Bloomingburg Cemetery. Memorial Donations can be made to the Church of the Infant Saviour Building Fund, 22 Holland Ave, Pine Bush, NY 12566. Arrangements entrusted to the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc.
