Formerly of Pine Bush
Leonia L. Ryman a retired cooking instructor for Queens College
and longtime resident of the area passed away on Tuesday November
29, 2011 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. She
was 91. The daughter of the late Lee Albert Colson and Mabel
Roque Colson she was born on March 22, 1920 in Louisiana. Leonia
was a member of the New Prospect Reformed Church in Pine
Bush. Survivors include her son Chris L. Hildenbrand and his
wife Phyllis of Pine Bush, 2 grandsons; Christian and James
Hildenbrand also of Pine Bush, brothers; Robert Colson of Oklahoma
and Andrew Colson of Florida, sister; Teddy Keller of Pine
Bush and also many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by
her husband Harry Ryman and Christian Hildenbrand. Visitation
will be held on Sunday December 4, 2011 from 2-5pm at the William
M. Gagan Funeral Home 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush. Funeral
Services will be offered on Monday December 5, 2011 at 11:00am at
the Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Rosa Officiating. Burial
will take place in New Prospect Cemetery. Arrangements
