Brian G. Sapio
Brian G. Sapio, a laborer with Ron Walton & Sons in Pine Bush, N.Y., and lifetime area resident, died Friday May 28, 2005 at O.R.M.C., Horton Campus, in Middletown, N.Y. He was 24.
The son of Brian Reilly and Susan Sapio, he was born May 27, 1981 in West Point, N.Y.
Brian was a member of the Church of the Infant Saviour in Pine Bush; former member of the C.Y.O. of the church; former Boy Scout with Troop 37; and former member of the Pine Bush Little League.
He is survived by his parents, Susan Sapio and Brian Reilly; sister, Isabella Rose Sapio; two brothers, Michael Pagani-Reilly and Stephen Hamm-Reilly; maternal grandmother, Ramona Sapio; paternal grandparents, Jane and Jack Reilly; uncle Sam Sapio, and three cousins: Samantha Sapio, Danny Sapio and Sotera Sapio; uncle Pete Mayta Jr., aunt Janet Sapio-Mayta, and two cousins, Peter Mayta III and Sonia Mayta; uncle David Taffany, aunt Dr. Nancy Sapio, and cousin Alexandra Taffany; uncle John Garcia and aunt Anita Sapio; uncle Jay Hyneman, aunt Sonia Hyneman and three cousins: Alexander Hyneman, Laurel Hyneman, and Lucas Hyneman; uncle Jack Reilly and aunt Mary; uncle Kevin Reilly; cousins, Jason Reilly, J.R. Reilly, and Jamee Reilly; aunt Linda Calvo; several great aunts and uncles; and several second cousins.
He was predeceased by his grandfather, Lucas J. Sapio, and one cousin, Ariana Mercedes Mayta.
Visitation will be held on Thursday June 2, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home, Inc., 1525 Burlingham Rd., Pine Bush, N.Y.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 3 at 10:00 AM at Church of the Infant Saviour, Route 302, Pine Bush, N.Y. with Father William Damroth officiating. Burial will be in New Prospect Cemetery, Pine Bush, N.Y.
Memorial contributions may be made to Church of the Infant Saviour Building Fund, 22 Holland Ave., Pine Bush, NY 12566.
