Obituary of Catherine J. Sarkowicz

Catherine J. (Kitty) Sarkowicz Formerly of Greenpoint, Brooklyn, N.Y. Catherine J. Sarkowicz "Kitty" of Pine Bush, N.Y., a retired employee of Leviton Mfg. Co., Brooklyn, N.Y., died June 1, 2005 at ORMC, Horton Campus. She was 81. She was born on March 14, 1924 to James McGann and Anna Kelly McGann in New York, N.Y. She was a member of the Church of the Infant Savior, and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. She was the widow of Joseph P. Sarkowicz. Survivors include 2 sons, Joseph Sarkowicz of Pine Bush, N.Y., John Sarkowicz of Queens, N.Y., 3 daughters, Lorraine Lesinski of Factoryville, Pa., Bridget Sarkowicz of Pine Bush, N.Y., and Cathy Humphrey and her husband John of Pine Bush, N.Y., her grandchildren Richard, J.J., Robert, Christine, Alicia, and Dylan, her brother Joseph McGann of Queens, N.Y., her sister Mary Olszewski of Brooklyn, N.Y., several nieces and nephews and several grand-nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Friday, June 3, 2005 from 3 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home, 1525 Burlingham Rd., Pine Bush, N.Y. Father William Damroth will celebrate a Funeral Mass on Saturday, June 4, 2005 at 10 AM at the Church of the Infant Saviour, Route 302, Pine Bush, N.Y.
