Obituary of Florence M. Upright

Florence M. Upright Pine Bush, NY Florence M. Upright, a loving and kind friend and neighbor and a longtime resident of the area passed away peacefully on August 18, 2008 at St. Theresa’s Nursing Home in Middletown. She was 81. The daughter of the late Charles D. Williams and Mable A. Hobart she was born on November 28, 1926 in Montgomery, NY. Florence was retired from Shrade Cutlery in Ellenville. She was the widow of the late Earl Upright. Florence will be truly missed by her dear friend and guardian Maureen Cronin, who would like to thank all the other friends, volunteers and social workers who helped improve her quality of life. Florence’s cats were very special to her. They were her children. Survivors include Terence Williams of Pine Bush, Bruce Loertscher of Wallkill, Eileen Hepper of Wallkill and several other nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday August 23, 2008 from 10:00am -12:00pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home, 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush, NY. Funeral service will be held at 12:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bruynswick Rural Cemetery in Wallkill.
