William Henry Voss Sr. Montgomery, NY William H. Voss Sr., and retired Track Foreman for Metro North, and longtime resident of the area, passed away at his home on Monday November 10, 2014. He was 70. Even though Bill fought a courageous battle, he succumbed to ALS. The son of the late John C. Voss Sr. and Mary Louise Gage Voss, he was born on February 15, 1944 in Suffern, NY. A Veteran, William served his country from 1962-1966 in the US Navy. Memberships include, the American Legion, Catholic War Vets, Pine Bush Seniors, Walker Valley Seniors, Warwarsing Sportsman Club, and the Boy Scouts. William is survived by his wife Ellie of 46 years, 3 children; Danielle J. Williams and her husband Ed of Howells, William H. Voss Jr. and his wife Kelly of Pine Bush, and Scott M. Voss and his wife Heather of Marysville, Washington; 8 grandchildren; Lee and Kasey Williams, Christopher and Brandon Voss, Emily and Cody Waizenegger, and Elizabeth and Emily Carroll, brother; John C. Voss Jr. and his wife Nancy of Florida. He is further survived by 5 nieces and 2 nephews. Bill is predeceased by his sister, Barbara Lukacik. Visitation will be held on Monday November 17, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush, NY. Funeral services will be offered on Tuesday November 18, 2014 at 10am at the Funeral Home with Pastor Wellington Casscles officiating. Burial will take place at the Orange County Veterans Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
