Obituary of Catherine Walker

Catherine Walker Catherine Walker, of Chester, NY, a homemaker and a two year area resident, died Sunday, April 17, 2005 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Suffern, NY. She was 81. The daughter of James Leslie Carnie and Elizabeth Peddie Carnie, she was born on December 1, 1923 in Glasgow, Scotland. Catherine was in the British Army, Radar Section during WWII, North Scotland. She is the widow of Samuel Walker. Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Sulyma and husband David of Chester, NY; son, Robert Walker and his wife, Lisa of Virginia Beach, VA and grandsons, Andrew Walker and Ethan Walker of Virginia Beach, VA; daughter, Leslie Walker of Roseburg, Oregon and grandson, Michael Walker of Albany, also her pets, Corky, Murray, Trevor and Willie. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2005 at 11 a.m. at New Prospect Cemetery, Pine Bush, NY. Pastor Robert B. Hewitt officiating.
