Cathleen E. Walsh Pine Bush, NY Cathleen E. Walsh a home maker and 9 year resident of the area, formerly of Long Island, NY passed away at her home on Wednesday December 31, 2008. She was 90. The daughter of the late Patrick Farrell and Genevieve Guinan Farrell, she was born on July 19, 1918 in Brooklyn, NY. Cathleen was a member of St. Paul’s RC Church in Bullville. Survivors include her 6 loving children: Ret. Col. Robert Walsh and his wife Jane of Virginia, Dr. Cathy Walsh and her husband John Hyland of Crestwood, NY, Ret. Lt. Col. John G. Walsh and his wife Theresa of Pearl City, Hawaii, Therese Walsh-Harding and her husband Dr. John Harding of Slidell, LO, Quentin G. Walsh and his wife Ellen Cronin of Cranbury, NJ, and Ellen Rogan and her husband Gerry of Thompson Ridge, NY. Cathleen is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Robert Walsh who passed away on October 22, 1970, her sister Genevieve Jacobsen, and her brother Edmund Farrell. Visitation will be held on Sunday January 4, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd, Pine Bush, NY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday January 5, 2009 at 10:00am at St. Paul’s RC Church, Bullville NY with Fr. Patrick McGuigan, O.Carm officiating.
