Karl L. Winter Karl L. Winter, a 54 year resident, passed away, Friday, January 19, 2007 at O.R.M.C. Horton Campus in Middletown. He was 79. The son of Donald Winter and Senta Chlupsa Winter, he was born November 6, 1927 in Teaneck, N.J. He was the widower of the late Mary Thompson Winter. Mr. Winter was a retired Vice President of Sales for AL Laboratory in New Jersey. He was a member of The G. Paul Bettinger Post 1308 American Legion, Pine Bush and Disabled American Veterans. A Veteran, Karl served his country as a Marine from 1944-1946. Survivors include his loving daughter, Senta Curran and her husband, Michael of Pine Bush; loving son, James Winter and his wife, Shirley of De Land, Fla.; four grandchildren, Sean Curran and his fiance, Paula Nunes, Kyle Curran, Erin Curran and Kelli Curran; loving brother, Donald Winter and his wife, Connie of Norwich, N.Y.; three nieces, Renee, Nanette and Valerie; one nephew, Donald; his caregivers, Aldeen and Travel Brooks. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Thompson Winter. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home, 1525 Burlingham Road, Pine Bush. Funeral service will be on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home, with Pastor Robert B. Hewitt officiating. Cremation will be in Cedar Hill Crematory with inurnment in the family plot in New Prospect Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make donation to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties Inc., 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550 or to Pine Bush Volunteer Ambulance Corp., P.O.
