Anthony John Buckley Jr. Anthony John Buckley Jr., 44, of Pine Bush, passed away April 17, 2005 in a tragic accident in the Town of Crawford, NY. He was the owner of the Thompson Ridge Nursery, Thompson Ridge Transport. Born on October 17, 1960 in Westwood, N.J. He is the son of Anthony Buckley Sr. and Joan Link Buckley. Survivors include his loving parents Tony and Joan from Southport, NC; he was the loving husband Francine Rongo Buckley and beloved father of Anthony J. Buckley III. He is survived by a sister, Alison Lysne of Washington State, brother Michael Buckley and Barbara of Yankee Lake, brother Jeff Buckley of Pine Bush and brother, Jon Buckley of Goshen, NY, also several nieces and nephews. Tony and Francine were married for 19 years. He was a 28 year member of the Pine Bush Fire Department and past Chief from 1991 to 1994. He was also a former Boy Scout with Troop 37, Pine Bush. A family statement reads: "Tony was a devoted and loving husband and father. He was a respected employer and a conscientious and hard worker. He was also a dedicated volunteer. If you lived in the Pine Bush area, you had to know Tony! He was outgoing, friendly and kind to all who knew him. He accomplished many things in his lifetime." Visitation will be in Wednesday, April 20, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home, 1525 Burlingham Rd., Pine Bush. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2005 at 10 a.m. in the Church of the Infant Saviour, Route 302, Pine Bush, NY. Father William Damroth will officiate. Burial will be in the New Prospect Cemetery, Pine Bush, NY. Memorial can be made to the Church of the Infant Saviour Building Fund, 22 Holland Ave., Pine Bush, NY 12566.
