Frank M. Burger, a retired banker and lifetime area resident, died November 4,2004 at the Montgomery Nursing Home. He was 87. The son of Frank M. Burger and Gertrude Kissele Burger he was born on April 25, 1917 in Pine Bush NY. He was a longtime member of the G. Paul Bettinger Post #1308,American Legion, Pine Bush, A Navy Veteran of WWII, and one of the Founding members of the Pine Bush Ambulance Corp.He was also a member of the New Prospect Reformed Church, Pine Bush NY, a member of the Pine Bush Senior Citizens and a member of the Whip Poor Will Camp, Inc. He is predeceased by his wife Evelyn Cameron Burger Survivors include one daughter Barbara Burger of Pine Bush NY, one son John F. Burger and his wife Deborah of Otisville, NY. Five grandchildren;Kristie Madura, Kevin Pulver, David Hall, Jessica Burger and Valerie Burger. He also had two great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday Nov. 9, 2004 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Road Pine Bush NY. Funeral services will be held on Wed. Nov. 10, 2004 at 10 am at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd. Pine Bush NY. Burial will be in the family plot in New Prospect Cemetery, Pine Bush NY.with military honors.
