Eleanor A, Alwell Wallkill, NY Eleanor A. Alwell, a home maker and 28 year resident of the area passed away on Monday November 24, 2008 at Campbell Hall Rehabilitation Center in Campbell Hall, NY. She was 77. The daughter of the late Adolph Dieterich and Florence Adelaide Kinecki, she was born on August 6, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY. Eleanor is a member of the Church of the Infant Saviour, the United Commercial Travelers, and a former member of the Lecture of the Eucharist Minister of Infant Saviour. Eleanor was predeceased by her husband James M. Alwell who passed away on July 25,1994. Survivors include her 2 loving daughters, Eileen Parr and her husband Thomas of Pine Bush, and Mary Greynolds and her husband Barry of Livingston Manor, 2 loving sons, Kevin F. Alwell and his wife Debbie of Wallkill and James B. Alwell of Wallkill, 1 loving sister Marilyn Forni of New Port News, VA , 2 loving brothers Robert Dieterich and his wife Arylene of East Stroudsburg, PA, and Gerald Dieterich, and his wife Irene of Pine Bush Eleanor is further survived by 11 loving grandchildren and 4 loving great grandchildren, and several loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday November 28, 2008 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home, 1525 Burlingham Rd, Pine Bush, NY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday November 29, 2008 at 10:00am at the Church of the Infant Saviour, Rte 302 Pine Bush, with Fr. Kevin Gallagher officiating.
