Butler Pine Bush - Helen M. Butler, a homemaker and a longtime resident of the area, died Saturday, October 06, 2007 at home. She was 98 years old. The daughter of William F. Morrissey & Catherine Madison Morrissey, she was born on July 9, 1909 in Brooklyn, N.Y. She was a member of the Church of The Infant Saviour in Pine Bush, the Walker Valley Senior Citizens, and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary Memorial Post #5492. She was also the wife of the late John J. Butler. Survivors include her loving sons, Edward Butler of Warwick and Kevin Butler of Pine Bush; 12 loving grandchildren and 24 loving great-grandchildren; and her loyal and faithful companion, 'Blackie Butler'. Two sons, John & Robert Butler, and two brothers, John & William Morrissey also predeceased her. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 9th and Wednesday, October 10th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home, 1525 Burlingham Rd., Pine Bush, N.Y. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 11th at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Infant Saviour, Rout 302, Pine Bush with Father Kevin Gallagher officiating.
