Obituary of Louis A. Caggiano

Louis A. Caggiano Jr. Pine Bush, NY Louis A. Caggiano, Jr., a 25-year area resident, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2008 with his family by his side at NYU Medical Center. He was 32. The son of Louis A. Caggiano and the late Ann-Marie Lanoce Caggiano, he was born February 29, 1976 in the Bronx, NY. He was a custodian for Circleville Middle School, and was a member of the Church of the Infant Saviour. A family statement reads: "Lou is the strongest person that any of us knew, and is our hero. He will be forever in our hearts and will be sadly missed." Survivors include his loving wife, April Romer Caggiano, at home; beloved father, Louis A. Caggiano of Pine Bush; beloved sisters, Elena Sisco and her fiance, Les Marshall of Pine Bush, Patty Caggiano and her fiance, Nelson McGarr of Pine Bush, Debra Caggiano and her fiance, Harold Brown of Walden; beloved brother, Vinny Caggiano of Florida; beloved nieces, Sherry and her fiance, Michael Pavone, Tiffany, Destiny, and Makayla; beloved nephew and godson, Anthony; beloved in-laws, Benjamin and Cindy Romer of Bloomingburg; beloved sister-in-law, Kimberly Romer of Bloomingburg; beloved brother-in-law, Erik Romer and his fiance, Maria Licata of Wurtsboro; beloved cousins, extended family and friends, and Lou's beloved dog, JoJo. He was predeceased by his mother, Ann Marie Caggiano, his uncle, Roy Lanoce, and his grandparents, Margaret and Rosario Lanoce. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home, 1525 Burlingham Rd., Pine Bush, NY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 17 at Church of the Infant Saviour, with Father Kevin Gallagher officiating. Burial will be in New Prospect Cemetery.
