Daniel Cappello, a retired Truck Driver for Skippy Carnese in
Monticello, and a long time resident of the area, passed away on
Saturday March 5, 2011 at home. He was 75. The son of
the late Sam and Mary Cappello, he was born on May 17, 1935 in
Bridgeport, CT. Daniel was a member of the Monticello Rod and
Gun Club. Survivors include his wife, Maggie at home; 4
children; Danny Cappello and his wife Kelly of Saratoga
Springs, NY; Sue Cappello of Saratoga Springs, NY; Marie
Ahern and her husband Ryan of Illinois, and Bobby Cappello of
Florida, 1 grandchild; Ryan Ahern, 2 brothers; Tony
Cappello and Arthur Cappello, 2 sisters; Mary Perna and
Louise Burkett, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation
will be held on Tuesday March 8, 2011 from 4-7pm at the William M.
Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush, NY.
Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday March 9, 2011 at
11:00am at the funeral home with Fr. Kevin Gallagher
officiating. Burial will be in New Prospect Cemetery.
