Carmina G. Antunes, a homemaker and longtime resident of the area, died Saturday, April 8, 2006 at home. She was 74. The daughter of the late Guilhermino Goncalves and Ana-Maria Costa Goncalves, she was born February 26, 1932 in Portugal. She was a member of The Church of the Infant Saviour; the Lions Club of Portugal; Academia do Bacalhau; and Associacao Regional Caldense. She is survived by her beloved husband, Frank Antunes, at home; her loving son, Frank Antunes and his wife, Olga, of Connecticut; a loving daughter, Lisa Santos and her husband, Sergio, at home; three beloved grandchildren: Sergio and Liliana Santos, and Christian Antunes; two sisters, Louise Reyes and Zulmira DiFranco; two brothers, Augusto Ramos and Luciano Ramos; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister, Celeste Sampaio. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 9 and Monday, April 10 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home, Inc., 1525 Burlingham Rd., Pine Bush, N.Y. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 11 at 10 a.m. at The Church of the Infant Saviour with Father Kevin Gallagher officiating. Burial will be in New Prospect Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to The Church of the Infant Saviour Building Fund. The family would like to extend their thanks to Dr. Perry, the nurses at Crystal Run and the nurses at O.R.M.C., Horton Campus, for their loving care of Carmina.
