Vincenza "Dolly" DeMatteis
Vincenza "Dolly" DeMatteis, a homemaker and longtime resident of the area, died March 13, 2005 at home. She was 76.
The daughter of Vincent Ciancimino and Josephine Pauelo Ciancimino, she was born October 24, 1928 in New York City.
She was a member of the Church of the Infant Saviour in Pine Bush.
A family statement reads, "The best wife and mother; she will be greatly missed."
Survivors include her beloved husband, Salvatore DeMatteis at home; two loving sons, Richard DeMatteis of Pine Bush, Michael DeMatteis and his wife Vickie of Washingtonville; three loving grandchildren, Christopher, John and Sean.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, March 16 at William M. Gagan Funeral Home, 1525 Burlingham Rd., Pine Bush.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 17 at Church of the Infant Saviour, Route 302, Pine Bush. Father William Damroth will officiate.
Burial will be in New Prospect Cemetery in Pine Bush.
