Robert J. Carr Wallkill & Pine Bush, NY November 21, 1943 - January 16, 2015 Robert Carr, (Bob, Bobby, Uncle Tommy) a retired Truck Driver for the Wakefern Food Corporation and longtime resident of the area passed away on Friday January 16, 2015. He was 71 years old. The son of the late Frank and Lillian Carr, Bob was born on November 21, 1943 in the Hamlet of Wallkill, on the Borden Farm. He is survived by: his daughters Dottie Spears and son-in- law LeRoy of Wallkill, and Michele Scholl and son-in-law John of Thompson Ridge, grandsons LeRoy II and his wife Jackie, Robert and Christopher Spears and Luke Scholl, great- grandchildren LeRoy III and Patsy Spears, sisters Sarah Elliott and brother-in-law Jim of Pine Bush and Mary O'Donnell of Pine Bush, 6 nieces, 13 nephews, 14 great nieces, 11 great nephews, 4 great-great nieces, 9 great-great nephews, and his companion Johnny, a black lab. Bob was predeceased by his wife, Patsy J. Carr in August of 2010, brothers John, Clarence, Ervin (Eddie), and Everett (Jack), sister Elizabeth (Betty) Doviak, brothers-in-law Greg O'Donnell and Andy Doviak, sisters-in-law Ruth (Layton), Lynn (Coykendall) and Catherine (Croke), nephews Michael and Dennis Carr, and niece Jacqueline Carr. Bob's family wishes to thank Jeanine from Hospice for the care and compassion she showed to him during his time of need. Visitation will be held on Friday January 23, 2015 from 5-9 PM at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc, 1525 Burlingham Rd, Pine Bush, NY. Funeral services will take place on Saturday January 24, 2015 at 10:00AM at the funeral home with Pastor Robert B. Hewitt officiating. Burial will follow beside his wife at the North Hardyston Cemetery in Hamburg, NJ on Thurs January 29, 2015 at 11am.
