Peter A. Casamento
Burlingham, NY
Peter A. Casamento, an Electronics Technician and 50 year
resident of the area, passed away at his home on Friday August 26,
2011. He was 97. The son of the late Giuseppe Casamento
and Maria D'Angelo Casamento, he was born on January 17, 1914 in
Guttenberg, NJ. Peter served his country during WWII in the
US Army and a member of the Church of the Infant Saviour.
Survivors include his sons; Peter Casamento and his wife Jane of
Willsboro, NY, and David Casamento of Burlingham, NY. daughter;
Anita Brown and her husband Robert also of Burlingham,
grandchildren; Crystal and Casey of Plattsburgh, NY and
Nicholas of Montgomery, sister; Helen Casamento of
Burlingham. Peter is predeceased by his wife Anita.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 30, 2011 from 2-4pm at
the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine
Bush, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on
Wednesday August 31, 2011 at 10:00am at the Church of the Infant
Saviour with Fr. Kevin Gallagher officiating. Burial will take
place in the New Prospect Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the
