Obituary of David E. Kirby

David E. Kirby Middletown, NY David E. Kirby, a Forklift Operator with Cardinal Health in Maybrook and life long resident of the area, passed away surrounded by his family on Monday October 5, 2015. He was 56. The son of Robert Kirby and Carol Roberson Kirby, he was born on December 11, 1958 in Middletown, NY. Dave was an avid sports fan who loved the NY Jets and the NY Yankees. Survivors include his parents, Robert and Carol Kirby of Westbrookville, sons; Kenneth Kirby and his companion Jess King of Pine Bush, Brendan Kirby of Middletown, daughter; Shannan Kirby of Middletown, brothers; Robert Kirby Jr. of Summitville, and Gerald Kirby of Westbrookville, sisters; Lisa Selma of Pine Bush, and Sue Fredell of PA. David is further survived by his granddaughter, Bianca Burns, the mother of his children, Roberta Lubitz Kirby, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is predeceased by his brother, Kenneth Kirby. Visitation will be held on Saturday October 10, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd. Pine Bush, NY. Funeral services will be offered at 8:30pm at the funeral home with Pastor Matthew Querns officiating. Cremation will be private.
