Anna Marie Napolitano Pine Bush, NY Anna Marie Riccardi Napolitano, life long resident of Pine Bush, NY passed away peacefully at Valley View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Goshen, NY Sunday October 11, 2015. She was 94 years old. The daughter of the late Angelo and Filomena Vena Riccardi, she was born on November 26, 1920 in Old Forge, PA. Anna and her late husband, Nickolas, owned and farmed Natural Springs Dairy Farm in Pine Bush from the early 1940's to 1966. She became an active member of the local agricultural community as a member of the Pine Bush Grange and Dairymen's League. Along with selling milk to Dairylea, in her earlier years she was a regular guest speaker on the radio where she addressed farming issues. Anna held several jobs after selling the farm but was most fond of her position as a bus monitor for First Student in Pine Bush which she held for many years. She loved caring for the young children placed in her care as they traveled to and from school. Anna was a member of the Church of the Infant Savior, the Altar Rosary Society, Pine Bush and Walker Valley Senior Citizens and active in Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. She was an election inspector for Ulster County, NY for many years. Anna had the unusual hobby of collecting pens and pencils with advertisements on them. Over the years her collection amounted to several thousand of them. Pens and pencils came to her from all over the U.S. and overseas as family and friends were always adding to her collection.
