Amalia Masaryk a retired Seamstress for the International Ladies Garment Workers Union in NYC, passed away in her home on Wednesday March 16, 2016. She was 94. The daughter of the late Joseph Stevko and Anna Sikela Stevko, she was born on November 1, 1921 in Czechoslovakia. She was a member of the Church of the Infant Saviour. Amalia is survived by her daughter Annette Tuthill and her husband Allen of Pine Bush, son; Adrian Masaryk and wife Marge of Hilton Head SC, grandchildren; Christopher Tuthill and wife Emily of Pine Bush, Alyssa Tuthill and husband Brian Schutz of Wallkill, NY, Michael Masaryk and wife Kim of Westbury, NY and Michelle Masaryk of Baltimore, MD. Great-grandchildren, Adam Schutz. Amalia is survived by her nieces and nephews and is predeceased by her husband of 68 yrs, Anton Masaryk and her brothers, Joseph and John Stevko.
