Antoinette Ditizio a home maker and longtime resident of the area passed away on Friday January 8, 2010 at ORMC Horton Campus. She was 75. The daughter of the late Joseph Savino and Rose Romano Savino, she was born on September 28, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY. Antoinette was a member of the Church of the Infant Saviour, past member of the Alter Rosary Society in St. Peters Church in Monticello, and Past member of St. Vincent DePaul Church in Brooklyn. Survivors include her loving son, Joe Ditizio and his wife Pat of Thompson Ridge, NY and her 2 loving grandsons, Michael and Joey Ditizio also of Thompson Ridge, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Charles Ditizio, her 2 brothers James and Michael Savino, and her sister Elizabeth Cornwell. Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 13, 2010 from 7-9pm and Thursday January 14, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd, Pine Bush, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday January 15, 2010 at 10:00am at the Church of the Infant Saviour with Fr. Kevin Gallagher officiating. Burial will take place in St. Peters Cemetery in Monticello, NY.
